IDX's RIS ventures down South

Moses Cone Health System has chosen IDX Systems Corp.'s Imagecast RIS (radiology information system) for installation.

The Greensboro, N.C., healthcare provider is a four-hospital, two outpatient diagnostic center health system that conducts more than 350,000 radiology exams annually.

Moses Cone Health System also selected the Imagecast Document Management Solution, which is designed to deliver fast, secure access to information that can shorten the revenue cycle, reduce lost charges and denials, prevent underpayments and optimize performance across the enterprise.

Utilizing IDX Flowcast business performance solutions since 1994, the health system has also employed IDX's LastWord for the Carecast operating unit as its clinical information system since 1998.
