iMedica releases new version of EHR, practice management solution

iMedica, a developer of healthcare software solutions for physician practices, has launched its Patient Relationship Manager (PRM) 2008, the latest iteration of its EHR and practice management solution.

"We have completed our release process for PRM 2008, having it tested and proven by hundreds of physicians within hosted and client server models across the United States," said Michael Nissenbaum, president and CEO of iMedica.

Enhancements in PRM 2008 include fully integrated Physician Quality Reporting Initiative, robust medication and vaccine management functions, reimbursement maximization tools and an advanced collections module, the Carrollton, Texas-based company said.

The PRM 2008 single-application, single-database solution, which is built on Microsoft's .NET technology, builds upon iMedica's PRM 2006 version 6.0, which was certified product by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology as an Ambulatory EHR 2006.
