InSite One inks deal with VHA

InSite One has entered into a multi-year agreement with VHA, a U.S. healthcare alliance, to provide medical digital archiving, storage and disaster recovery services to VHA member hospitals. 

The Wallingford, Conn.-based InSite One said its patented InDex storage management services will deliver a suite of standards-based solutions to VHA that adhere to DICOM, HL7 and XDS (cross document sharing) protocols. The on-demand repository ensures retrieval of clinical information throughout the enterprise with retention for their legal-life in a tamper-proof HIPAA compliant environment.

The archiving and storage architecture is the center of the digital transformation, affecting performance, productivity and growth of clinical information network, according to the company.
