IntrinsiQ's new speech-enabled oncology clinical workflow tool

IntrinsiQ Research Inc. this week announced that it will integrate ScanSoft Dragon NaturallySpeaking to enable speech recognition within IntelliDose. According to the company, IntrisiQ IntelliDose is the first speech-enabled medical oncology clinical workflow tool. The core benefit to users is the elimination of costly transcription services. The debut of the latest release of IntelliDose took place at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Orlando, May 13-16.

Key features on display were new improved functionality that support a number of modules including eDoc physician dictation; by using the ScanSoft Dragon NaturallySpeaking SDK to integrate with other aspects of IntelliDose, IntrinsiQ now allows physicians to document cancer patient care efficiently; and automated charge capture and laboratory results reporting equips oncologists, nurses and other healthcare providers with the most efficient and accurate documentation product available.
