KOM, Hummingbird to collaborate on archival and content management system

KOM Networks recently announced a strategic alliance with Hummingbird Ltd. to provide a combined content management and data archival system. As part of the agreement, the companies will combine KOMworx compliance and archiving software with Hummingbird Enterprise software thus creating a system able to provide compliance enabling features such as data authenticity, integrity and security, the companies said.

Other capabilities of the combined system include ILM, content/document management, records management and e-mail management, utilizing existing resources and infrastructure and increased content efficiencies in meeting business and regulatory compliance requirements.
