Mammography Reporting Systems

Mammography Reporting Systems (Booth 8511) is promoting the release of version 6.7 Enhanced, which offers mammography tracking and reporting and features three risk assessment models that will alert radiologists of a patient's risk of breast cancer.

The first risk assessment model evaluates a patient's risk of breast cancer in the next five years based on guidelines from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). A different algorithm calculates a patient's lifetime risk based on NCI findings. The hereditary risk assessment model uses guidelines from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS) to determine a high-risk hereditary background that could prompt increased surveillance or hereditary testing.

Additionally, all reports created in MRS can now be exported to a PDF file, making it easy to transfer and email any reports the system generates. More than a dozen MRS reports can now be exported into a Mircosoft Excel file, so that facilities can sort or format data from the MRS system to create charts and graphs and other tools offered in Excel, according to the company.

MRS 6.7 Enhanced also includes a new feature that allows integration with more than one system on each workstation.
