MarCap adds to credit and legal departments, moves headquarters

MarCap Corp., a healthcare financing company that specializes in imaging centers and surgery centers, has expanded its management team.

Robert Boyer, who has spent 18 years with Heller Financial Leasing and GE Capital, has been named credit analyst and will work specifically with MarCap's surgery center clients and on portfolio acquisitions. David Wargula, former senior associate attorney for Askounis & Borst, has been appointed in-house attorney and corporate counsel. Jerry Porebski, former asset manager for DVI Strategic Partners Group, a division of DVI Financial Services, joins MarCap as new asset manager.

In related news, MarCap announced that it has moved location of its offices to 200 W. Jackson Street in Chicago's financial district. For nearly 25 years, MarCap has been headquartered in Chicago's Civic Opera House.

MarCap said the new space will allow for expansion of the company's healthcare financing business.
