Matrox display controllers support new Eizo displays, TaraMed expands partnership

Eizo Nanao Technologies Inc. this week announced that its recently released RadiForce G22 and R12 medical displays are compatible with Matrox Graphics Inc.'s MED2mp and RAD2mp display controller boards.

Matrox's RAD2mp display controllers, which support up to 2 mega-pixel (MP) grayscale or color, analog or digital displays, are designed for review and diagnostic stations, offers image manipulation, and support from the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software development toolkit.

The Matrox MED Series of display controllers provides multi-monitor support, high image quality and robust drivers. According to Matrox, the controllers are compatible with all display types with support for OpenGL in grayscale.

In related news, TaraMed, the Totoku authorized distributor of medical products for Ireland and the UK, and that currently supplies Matrox MED3mp and MED5mp display controller boards, has added Matrox's MED and RAD Series display controllers, ranging from 2 MP to 5 MP, with its medical displays.
