MEDecision names Wallace as interim president, COO

MEDecision has named Tim Wallace as interim president and chief operating officer.

Wallace, who has been a member of MEDecision’s board of directors since March 2002, assumes his new duties Monday. The company said that Wallace will have responsibility for all aspects of MEDecision’s operations, including the information technology team charged with maintaining the infrastructure for MEDecision’s web-based applications.

Wallace has been a company board member since 2002, Wayne, Pa.-based MEDecision said. Previously, he was CEO of FullTilt Solutions and has held positions with Xerox and Arthur Andersen.

The company's former president, John H. Capobianco, resigned last year.

MEDecision provides software, services and clinical content to healthcare payors.
