Medi-Future, Three Palm ink distribution deal

Medi-Future and Three Palm Software have signed a partnership agreement, in which Medi-Future will distribute Three Palm's WorkstationOne product as part of its mammography product suite.

Under the agreement, the Seoul, South Korea-based Medi-Future will be distributing Three Palm's WorkstationOne with Brestige--its new full-field digital mammography (FFDM) system, which the company said is being introduced to select markets in May.The FFDM system is set to feature advanced applications such as computer-aided detection (CAD) and tomosynthesis, which is scheduled to be available in a later release.

The Los Gatos, Calif.-based Three Palm said its WorkstationOne is a breast imaging workstation that employs viewing methodologies such as Tabar's systematic viewing masks. WorkstationOne supports the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) mammography image profile, the display of CAD markers and Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State (GSPS) graphic annotation.
