Medipattern launches B-CAD-For-Life

Medipattern has debuted a new sales model for accessing the benefits of B-CAD, which offers separate components required to install, train, use and maintain B-CAD as one package under one monthly service fee.

The Toronto-based Medipattern said it is managing the service of providing computer-aided detection (CAD) for breast ultrasound imaging for its customers with the B-CAD-For-Life plan.

"The answer seemed clear that we needed to create a program that could give our customers immediate access to all of the advantages of B-CAD. One B-CAD installation can consist of many software seat licenses and additional computers depending on number of sonography rooms, radiologist reading stations and workflow," said Jeff Collins, CEO of Medipattern. "All of the components to tailor the installation for each customer including B-CAD software, seat licenses and hardware, as well as training, installation and maintenance fees, are bundled under one flat monthly fee in the B-CAD-FOR-LIFE program."
