Medrad to sell Confirma CADstream in EU

Confirma, an application-specific, MRI computer-aided detection (CAD) company, has signed an agreement with Medrad, a provider of medical devices and services for diagnostic imaging, enabling Medrad to sell its CADstream version 5.0 in the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy.

Under the agreement, the Bellevue, Wash.-based Confirma said it will provide training and support to all CADstream customers, according to the Warrendale, Pa.-based Medrad.

The version of CADstream that is covered by the agreement is currently under clinical investigation in the United States, Confirma said.
