Merge, IDC align for ortho DR software

Merge Healthcare has entered into an agreement with Calgary, Alberta-based Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) for the availability of its ProPlanner software package for the company’s orthopedic digital radiography customers.

In combination with the image captured on the orthopedic facility’s IDC DR system, the software will allow for surgical planning, by way of an implant library for the pre-operative sizing of the necessary implant for the surgeon, said Milwaukee-based Merge.
