Merge integrates card, rad products at S.C. provider

Merge Healthcare has signed an agreement with Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health System for the integration of its cardiology offerings, Vericis and Hemodynamics, with the provider's existing Merge radiology offerings, Enterprise Content Manager and RadSuite.

The integration will allow for the consolidation of images and image-related information in a vendor-neutral infrastructure across radiology, cardiology and other image-intensive specialties from multiple backend systems, said the Hartland, Wis.-based company.
