Mississippi center taps Toshiba for cardio x-ray

North Mississippi Medical Center has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems' Infinix DP-i, a single-room x-ray for cardiac and general angiography.

The system will allow the center, which is based in Tupelo, Miss., to conduct both cardiac and peripheral procedures with one system, according to Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba.

The dual C-arm configuration features an 8" x 8" flat panel detector for cardiac applications and a 12" x 16" flat-panel detector for peripheral applications.
