Misys teams with Foundation Management Services

Misys Healthcare Systems has partnered with Foundation Management Services Inc. of Denton, Texas to provide Misys Homecare in an ASP (application service provider) environment for startup to mid-size homecare and hospice agencies seeking affordable software to automate clinical and financial operations.
   
According to Misys, the contract is its first venture to broaden sales channels of Misys Homecare into the managed services organization (MSO) market.
   
Foundation Management Services provides a variety of services and systems to homecare and hospice agencies in Texas including financial and clinical management, billing and collections, education and consulting, information systems and business development.
   
The partnership with Misys will help Foundation Management Services to accelerate growth in new segments of the homecare market and to remain compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) regulations, according to Marcylle Combs, owner and president, Foundation Management Services.
