NEC medical display receives FDA nod

NEC Display Solutions of America has received FDA 510(k) market clearance for the MultiSync MD310C4 medical diagnostic display, which was created for medical imaging and PACS in hospitals, doctor’s offices, urgent care centers and other healthcare facilities.

The MD310C4 4MP monitor has a dual-display port, and factory calibrated DICOM presets, according to the Itasca, Ill.-based company. Other features include a 30-inch screen P-IPS panel, digital uniformity correction, 14-bit 3D internal programmable lockup tables, and an AmbiBrightT ambient light sensor which adjusts the display’s brighteness based on lighting conditions.
