Nevada inks breast density measure

Nevada has joined the growing number of states that have passed breast density legislation.

On June 3, Gov. Brian Sandoval signed the breast density inform measure, which requires imagers to include breast density information to be included in the report to patients. Nine other states have implemented breast density legislation, and 19 states are weighing measures. The Breast Density and Mammography Reporting Act of 2011 is on the federal agenda.
