NightHawk buys American Teleradiology

NightHawk Radiology Holdings Inc. has purchased American Teleradiology Inc., a Virginia-based provider of overnight and off-hours teleradiology services. The acquisition was motivated by a desire of NightHawk to increase its customer base by acquiring contracts previously held by American Teleradiology, the company said.

NightHawk is headquartered Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and provides nighttime and weekend emergency radiology services to radiology groups and hospitals across the United States. NightHawk's team of American Board of Radiology-certified, U.S. state-licensed and hospital-privileged affiliated radiologists from centralized reading facilities located in Sydney, Australia and Zurich, Switzerland, as well as from locations within the United States.
