Philips debuts SpeechMagic report management for Finnish hospitals

Royal Philips Electronics has released its SpeechMagic Executive Advanced (SMEA), a report management solution for Finnish hospitals.

The system integrates with healthcare infrastructure and features the new Finnish MultiMed ConText for hospital-wide speech recognition. SMEA can be applied as a standalone application or as an integrated solution, according to Philips.

The incorporated Finnish MultiMed ConText features terminology for accurate report recognition from surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, neurology, psychiatrics, pulmonology and other specialties.

The solution is based on Citrix Ready technology to ensure compatibility with the Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructures, Philips said. SpeechMagic Executive Advanced is available through Philips Speech Recognition Systems’ Finnish distribution partner, Oy Konttorityö.
