Philips Medical Systems, EP MedSystems partner in EP technology

Philips Medical Systems and EP MedSystems Inc. have aligned in the area of electrophysiology (EP) to diagnose and treat cardiac rhythm disorders.

Philips will combine its cardiovascular x-ray technology with EP MedSystems' EP recording and data management systems. Specifically, Philips will integrate its Allura x-ray imaging system with EP-WorkMate recording, stimulation, and mapping platform.

Products from the collaboration will be available initially in the U.S., with the global cardiovascular market to follow.
