Planar launches new family of displays
CHICAGO, Nov. 27—Planar Systems is unveiling a new family of high-resolution grayscale displays—the Planar Dome Zx series—at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
The Beaverton, Ore.-based Planar is showcasing its Dome Z16 at the conference, the first 16-mexapixel, 30-inch single grayscale diagnostic imaging display, the company said.
Planar also said that the size and design of the new display offers side-by-side digital study comparisons, less panning and zooming, and flexibility for interface design.
