Premier Inc. chooses McKesson's PACS

National group purchasing organization Premier Purchasing Partners L.P. inked a multi-source two-year agreement to make McKesson's Horizon Medical Imaging PACS (picture archiving and communications system) service available to Premier's 1,500 member hospitals and healthcare organizations.
   
According to Premier, many of its members are already using the service with good results, therefore the agreement will allow all of their members to benefit from the improved workflow the systems provide as well as the savings the contract makes available.
