Rein EDV, Matrox bundle technologies

Rein EDV of Germany will bundle the Matrox Graphics Inc.'s RAD2mp display controller board with its new ME213L medical displays.

With dual output support of up to 2 MP grayscale or color, analog or digital displays, the RAD2mp display controller board offers reviewing, assessing and diagnosing capabilities, Matrox said. Designed for review and diagnostic stations, the RAD2mp provides image manipulation and support from the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software development toolkit, according to Matrox.

In addition, RAD Series display controller boards, including the RAD2mp, are equipped with Hardware Pivot for smooth and accelerated portrait image displays, and are capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in stretched or independent modes, said Matrox. Also featured in the RAD Series is Matrox's real-time grayscale processing technology, ExtendiGray.
