Roche unveils new STAT assays for cardiac biomarker testing

Roche Diagnostics has introduced a new line of STAT immunoassays for cardiac biomarker testing on the cobas 6000 analyzer series, a system designed for diagnostic labs with medium testing volumes.

The nine-minute STAT immunoassay tests include troponin T, troponin I, CK-MB, myoglobin and NT-proBNP and run on the cobas e 601 analyzer, part of the cobas 6000 analyzer series, a platform that offers both clinical chemistry and immunoassay testing, according to the Indianapolis-based Roche.
