RSNA: Anthro debuts workstation for smaller settings

Radiology furniture manufacturer Anthro (Booth 8721) is unveiling the ct1--a professional workstation designed for small radiology reading rooms, teleradiology and for radiologists who work from home--at the 2009 Radiologicial Society of North America (RSNA) conference in Chicago.

The ct1 is smaller than Anthro's CT03 and CT08 workstations but offers many of the same features--including electrical height adjustment and comfort controls for lighting and air circulation, according to the Portland, Ore.-based company. The table supports up to 300 pounds and has motorized height movement combined with an adjustable keyboard surface to provide a height range of 21.5 inches to 54.5 inches. The keyboard surface also has a 15 degree tilt adjustment that facilitates individual work positions, sitting or standing.

Anthro said ct1’s L-shaped monitor surface remains level when the keyboard surface is tilted and it supports up to four monitor arms.
