RTI shows CT Slice Probe

RTI Electronics showcased its CT Slice Probe at the 94th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago.

The CT Slice Probe can replace more QA tools, said RTI. The probe fits into standard phantoms and measures dose in every point of the beam to acquire the total dose profile regardless of the beam width. The technology addresses the challenge of measuring total patient radiation dose in wide beam scanners with multiple beam apertures.
