Siemens, ASRT Foundation to renew scholarship partnership

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation and Siemens will renew the Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship through 2018.

Siemens will continue to provide financial support for medical imaging professionals who are pursuing education to enhance their clinical practice skills. The program will award up to four scholarships per year valued at $5,000 each, and Siemens also will contribute $3,000 each year to cover a portion of the costs associated with managing the program.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in the radiologic sciences or be seeking a certificate in a specialty discipline such as CT, MRI or sonography. The deadline for applications for the 2013-2014 academic year was Feb. 1, with recipients to be announced May 1.
