Siemens lands second install at U.K. hospital

Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, part of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Lancashire, U.K., has installed its second Acuson S2000 ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare.

The hospital is also the recipient of Siemens’ syngo Auto OB software application and a 9L4 transducer, and the equipment is being utilized for obstetric exams and small parts imaging, said the Malvern, Pa.-based company.
