Siemens launches portable US

Siemens Healthcare has introduced the Acuson P300 ultrasound system.

The portable device, designed for a variety of clinical settings, offers 13 multi-frequency transducers and image optimization technologies, according to Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens. Its image optimization tools include panoramic imaging, speckle reduction and spatial compounding. The system comes with 13 transducers, including specialty laparoscopic and intra-operative probes for interventional procedures. It features a 15-inch display, integrated power supply and two transducer ports.
