Siemens opens new customer service center

Siemens Healthcare has opened a new U.S. customer service headquarters in Cary, N.C.

Political dignitaries, the media and other guests joined Siemens' employees Monday for the grand opening of the 143,000-square-foot, six-story office building located on the Cary Medical Campus.

The new facility will bring together the UPTIME call center, regional support center, clinical education, service marketing, service management and vendor management, as well as coordinate more than 1,300 customer service engineers for 24/7 service for medical imaging equipment and software.
