Siemens releases updated ultrasound workstation

Siemens Healthcare is now shipping Release 3.5 of its syngo US Workplace, an ultrasound workstation.

The new iteration offers capabilities for cardiology, general imaging, OB/GYN and vascular screening, including the syngo Arterial Health Package for semi-automated carotid intima-media thickness measurements, the company said.

The syngo US Workplace 3.5 is an image management platform that supports access to DICOM-compliant images, Siemens said.
