Siemens touts Soarian sales

Siemens Medical Solutions announces that the fourth quarter of FY04 2004 ending Sept. 30 marked the strongest quarter to date for sales of Soarian, Siemens new-generation health information system.

Siemens said it nearly doubled the amount of Soarian products sold in the fourth quarter of FY04 compared with the fourth quarter of FY03. To date, more than 175 Soarian products have been sold in the United States as healthcare providers continue to build their electronic health record strategies.
