SNM releases updated study guide

The third edition of the "Review of Nuclear Medicine Technology," which includes the previous companion piece "Preparation for Examinations in Nuclear Medicine Technology" and chapters of new information about patient care, instrumentation and nuclear oncology, is now available from the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM).

The various editions of this publication "have been helping nuclear medicine technology students prepare for national certification exams for 12 years," noted Nanci A. Burchell, president of SNM's Technologist Section (SNMTS). Updated chapters include new material on electrocardiography, interventional drugs and new therapeutic agents. The review questions with answers have been revised and rearranged into five practice exams.

The 252-page soft cover book costs $49 for SNM members or $69 for nonmembers. To order, contact the SNM service center by phone at 800-513-6853 or send an e-mail to servicecenter@snm.org.
