Sonora Medical inks pact with Suncom Solucion Commercial

Sonora Medical Systems has signed an exclusive license and supply agreement with Suncom Solucion Commercial S.A. de C.V.

 Sonora will share its intellectual property with Suncom in order for the Mexico City-based company to service diagnostic ultrasound transducers owned by Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social (IMSS) public healthcare network in Mexico. The IMSS currently owns an estimated 10,000 ultrasound machines.

 Sonora is a subsidiary of Misonix Inc., which specializes in ultrasonic medical devices.
