SourceOne, DeJarnette ink distribution agreement

SourceOne Healthcare Technologies will now distribute DeJarnette Research Systems Inc. dyseCT CT workflow system.

The system is designed to address the problems associated with high-speed CT scanners that produce multiple procedure studies and a PACS that matches these multiple procedure studies to a single order, DeJarnette said.

dyseCT identifies multiple procedure studies and modifies the DICOM modality worklist using a group procedure to replace the multiple procedure; analyses the images, associating them with a specific anatomical region automatically without manual intervention; and it separates the images in a multiple procedure study and associates those images with the appropriate orders.

CMS has more than doubled the CCTA payment rate from $175 to $357.13. The move, expected to have a significant impact on the utilization of cardiac CT, received immediate praise from imaging specialists.

The newly cleared offering, AutoChamber, was designed with opportunistic screening in mind. It can evaluate many different kinds of CT images, including those originally gathered to screen patients for lung cancer.
