Standing Stone launches software tool to manage diabetic therapy

Standing Stone, a provider of disease state management solutions, has launched its DMClinic software application.

DMClinic will help hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities manage their inpatient and outpatient diabetic patients, adding to its clinical support disease management applications that include CoagClinic and CholesterolClinic, the Westport, Conn.-based company said.

DMClinic features several innovations including detailed checklists on Health Maintenance Activities, tracking of multiple diabetes medications, comprehensive patient and clinic reports and a patient education section all combined with a one-screen approach, Standing Stone said. Installing DMClinic’s HL7 interface enables automatic synchronization of data throughout the organization.
