Trauma center taps Philips for CT
St. Francis Hospital has installed Ingenuity CT and IntelliSpace Portal at its emergency facility.
The Poughkeepsie, N.Y. hospital deployed Philips Healthcare's 128-slice Ingenuity CT equipped with iDose4, an iterative reconstruction technique to help manage dose. IntelliSpace Portal enables access to 3D images on any computer. The technology allows physicians to pre-process angiography images and provides access to brain perfusion maps throughout the enterprise, the hospital said.
