Two Spanish imaging firms to merge

Sedecal and Suinsa Medical Systems have signed an agreement to merge both companies into a single entity.

Sedecal and Suinsa are both OEM providers in the medical imaging market. By joining the two Madrid, Spain-based companies, they will be able to offer a complete range of x-ray products to multi-national medical imaging companies and other OEM x-ray medical companies.

Upon formal completion of the merger, the newly formed company will operate under the name of Sedecal and will have an anticipated consolidated sales total of more than $221 million (€140 million) for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, according to both companies.
