WellPoint inks $719 million deal with IBM

WellPoint Inc., an Indianapolis-based health insurer, announced last that it has finalized a $719 million, seven-year information technology service agreement with IBM.

As part of the agreement, Wellpoint said that it plans to shift about 380 jobs to IBM because the services that will result from the deal will no longer be covered in-house.
