Zecotek expands distribution to Japan

Zecotek Photonics has signed broad distribution agreement with T.E.M., a Japanese distributor of laser and electro-optical products, for Zecotek’s fiber and solid state lasers, MAPD photo detectors, RFO vanadate crystals and patented LFS scintillation material in Japan. 

Tokyo-based T.E.M. will work within Zecotek’s existing manufacturing agreement with Fujikura, according to Zecotek.

Under the laser distribution agreement, T.E.M. has committed to pre-purchase products, including its Green Fiber Lasers for immediate marketing to its major OEM customers.  The distribution agreements were signed by Zecotek Laser Systems Pte. and Zecotek Imaging Systems Pte., the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said.
