Zonare, Hologic ink service support agreement

Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems has signed a support agreement with Hologic Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Hologic will become an authorized Zonare on-site service contractor for any customers who have purchased the new z.one ultrasound system within the United States.

The agreement is for a two year period with the option to renew for two additional years at the end of the initial contract.

Zone Sonography technology, the software architecture of the z.one system, acquires data more quickly than conventional data acquisition and image formation. The z.one system uses relatively few large zones rather than narrow lines for rapid image storage, processing and display.
