Agfa installs two DR systems at U.K. hospital

Agfa HealthCare has installed two DX-D 600 Direct Radiography (DR) systems at Royal Cornwall Hospitals National Health Service (NHS) Trust, in the southwestern county of Cornwall, U.K.

DX-D 600 is a ceiling-suspended system, with fully-motorized, semi-automatic and manual configurations. The system also features dual Cesium Iodide DR detectors in the wall stand and table, with optional integrated CR.

The installation created two new DR rooms at the hospital, part of a project that will include 10 CR 30-X and three DX-G systems across the Trust, according to the company.
