Acuo showcases storage virtualization

Acuo Technologies showcased at HIMSS06 last week in San Diego its storage virtualization via its version 4.3 Next Generation Archive software which provides sophisticated intelligent acquisition, distribution and archiving DICOM image management solutions. The products have fully integrated leading-edge audit profiles and protocols, and Acuo’s portfolio of software is designed for use with both new and legacy DICOM PACS to enhance performance, and to virtualize and consolidate the functions of multiple, unrelated DICOM PACS or storage archives as a single entity. A flexible layer allows users to work with any system. Also, Acuo recently announced several OEM/VAR agreements and said it is committed to distributing its products via these partners.
