Optimal Readings acquires Texas radiology group

Dec. 7 — Optimal Readings Services Group, a provider of optimization services for radiology, has acquired Pin Point Radiology of Fort Worth, Texas. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Optimal Readings and Pin Point will combine all of their operations, and Pin Point will bring its radiology management contracts with hospital and radiology group clients under Optimal’s service optimization platform, according to the Birmingham, Ala.-based Optimal Readings.

Optimal Readings said that Pin Point’s radiologists will join its team to augment its radiology services capabilities to further optimize, supplement and extend the radiology operations of its customers.
