Logicalis, BridgeHead enter healthcare data retention, security partnership

Logicalis has entered a strategic partnership with Enterprise BridgeHead Software, with the objective of providing technology to support healthcare IT environments.

Under the terms of the agreement, Logicalis will resell BridgeHead’s suite of enterprise data management (EDM) products. The two companies said they will provide a consultative resource and a software platform, as well as addressing the growing requirements related to retaining, securing and protecting patient records in compliance with HIPAA, Europe's EC 95/46 Directive and Japan's HPB 517.  
BridgeHead’s EDM products include BH FileStore for the archiving and management of unstructured file data, BH PACStore for archiving and HT Backup for data backup and recovery within healthcare settings, the Surrey, England-based company said.
