Barco launches Coronis 3MP DuraLight

Barco this week unveiled a new backlight technology called DuraLight, which is designed to extend the lifetime of medical liquid crystal displays (LCD).

Barco says DuraLight backlight is prolonged by three to five times without an increase in power consumption, when compared with conventional cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL). The new product also has a five-year warranty.
