BioImagene launches digital slide scanner

BioImagene, a provider of digital pathology technologies, has released the iScan Coreo Au digital slide scanner and the newest version of Virtuoso software.

According to the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, Iscan Coreo Au is a scanner that enables digital pathology applications such as image analysis, telepathology, remote microscopy and education. Its features include an automated turret with multiple objectives, volume scan (z-stacked) images with multiple planes, and iScan Coreo Au Live, an application supporting remote microscopy and collaboration.
