Broadwest launches new flat panel illuminator

Broadwest Corp. this week released a new flat-panel illuminator, LumiVue, for viewing mammography films.

LumiVue provides a brightness of 8,000 cd/m² and a life several times longer than that of other fluorescent lamps. Its backlight technology employs the highest daylight color temperature for improving contrast and providing uniformity greater than 90 percent, said Broadwest.

Installment options include mobile workstation, wall-mounted and desktop stand.
