Cedara releases new native Java DICOM toolkit

Cedara Software has released the MergeCOM-3 Advanced Integrator's Native Java Tool Kit Version 3.0. This newest tool kit in Native Java provides an alternative for developers who prefer to utilize Java language. The kit also vendor neutral and thus can be used with LINUX, Solaris or Windows operating systems.

The MergeCOM-3 DICOM Tool Kit has an OEM customer base with more than 150 commercial MergeCOM-3 licensees, according to Cedara.

The Native Java Tool Kit has been tested with several major medical imaging manufacturers, including Infocom, an advanced system integrator for the telecommunication, healthcare and knowledge management industries, the company said.
